Now, please complete the following four questions about the apprenticeships at your organisation and your apprentice recruitment over the last 12 months. Advisory notes are included with each question, providing guidance about the information required.

1. How many apprentices are currently employed by your organisation?

Information

Only include details of your apprentices who are employed in England and are completing apprenticeships that meet approved Apprenticeship Standards or apprenticeship frameworks (compliant with the Specification of Apprenticeship Standards for England).

2. How many apprentices started (or will start) an apprenticeship with your organisation between 1st April 2021 and 31st March 2022? Please state whether these apprentices were recruited from outside your organisation, transferred from a previous apprenticeship, or are existing employees.

Information

For example, a total of 58 apprentices started Level 3 apprenticeships with your organisation during the last 12 months. Of these, 22 were recruited from outside the organisation, 19 progressed from completing a Level 2 apprenticeship at your organisation, and the remaining 17 apprentices were existing employees.

3. Please give details about the diversity of the apprentices that started (or will start) an apprenticeship with your organisation between 1st April 2021 and 31st March 2022.

Information

For example, a total of 110 apprentices started an apprenticeship with your organisation during the last 12 months. Of these, 65 apprentices are male, 45 are female; 3 apprentices are aged 16-18 years old, 56 apprentices are aged 19-24 years old, and 51 apprentices are aged 25+ years old; 23 are black, Asian & ethnic minority apprentices; and 6 apprentices have learning difficulties or disabilities.

4. Thinking about the apprentices who were due to complete their apprenticeships at your organisation between 1st April 2021 and 31st March 2022, what was the outcome of their apprenticeships?

Information

For example, 60 apprentices began a two-year Level 3 apprenticeship at your organisation in September 2019. During the two-year apprenticeship, 5 apprentices dropped out, but from remainder, 48 successfully achieved their apprenticeship in autumn 2021 by passing an End-Point Assessment (EPA) for their apprenticeship. A total of 43 of these apprentices continued to be employed by your organisation or progressed to another apprenticeship programme. You would therefore enter '60' for part (a), '48' for part (b), and '43' for part (c).

Please note, if an apprenticeship was on a framework (not a standard), then apprentices must have fulfilled all aspects of their apprenticeship to gain the apprenticeship completion certificate, in order to be counted as having 'successfully achieved' their apprenticeships.

Finally, please complete the following Employer Declaration and your contact details, which will be used to arrange a short follow-up data check by email or telephone, as part of the verification process for your entry, and to invite you to the launch of the new rankings in summer 2022.
